Vedic astrology is based on the Vedic beliefs. According to the concept of Karma, the planets are interpreted in terms of their impact on the previous life and the simultaneous effect on the current. Only the planets up to Saturn are employed in Hindu astrology. Dasha, prashna, muhurta, varshaphal, lunar nakshatra, and harmonic charts are some of the other methods used to make forecasts.
Unlike equinoxes in Western astrology, Jyotisha shashtra uses a calculating approach based on the twelve constellations and 28 nakshatra (moon constellations). It is said to be more accurate than Western astrology in terms of predicting and analysing a person's fate.
The study of dashas, or the time during which a planet reigns, contributes to Vedic forecasts' great accuracy. The future events are discovered by evaluating the dasha of your planets. This technique broadens the scope of Indian astrology beyond the narrow self to include greater events that will occur shortly. The varshaphal, or yearly result, is then estimated by looking at the Sun's position at the time of your birth. Varshaphal differs from a natal chart in that it forecasts how the year will unfold following your birthday in a certain year. The auspicious hours, or shubhmuhurat, are also determined using Vedic astrology.
